It’s funny how life delivers lessons right when you think you understand them.
I recently wrote about durability while preparing for a Hyrox race - then durability hit me square in the face. A farmer’s carry with 24kg (53 lbs) doesn’t sound unreasonable on paper. But when you push the pace, that’s when my 59-year-old knee spoke up loud and clear: not today.
Now I’m managing a sore right knee. And while I wait for it to recover, I’m doing what durability really demands - adapting, not quitting. I’ve shifted focus to the SkiErg, the rower, and modified CrossFit work that doesn’t overload the knee. Progress doesn’t stop; it just changes form.
This is where recovery matters most.
Rest isn’t passive. Recovery is active. And HRV+ has become a critical part of how I support my body while it heals—helping calm inflammation, support nervous system balance, and improve the quality of my rest so I can keep moving forward.
Durability isn’t about never getting hurt.
It’s about how quickly - and how well - you recover.
If you’re training hard, aging forward, or simply asking more from your body, HRV+ was built for moments like this.
